    National Resident Match Program
The 2018 Main Residency Match is now open. Click here for residency match calendar dates and deadlines. The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) is the centralized online application service medical students use to deliver their application, along with supporting documents, to residency programs.

The Match process is a United States-based private non-profit non-governmental system by which residency candidates and residency programs simultaneously “match” to fill first-year and second-year post-graduate training positions accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The National Resident Matching Program® (NRMP®) instituted and maintains The Match system.

The NRMP is sponsored by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Association of American Medical (AAMC), the American Hospital Association (AHA), and the Council of Medical Specialty Societies (CMSS).
